maitres cuisiniers de france luncheon

I recently had the honor of preparing the dessert course for the Maitres Cuisiniers de France, or Master French Chefs of the World, luncheon at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel. This was probably the most high profile event I have ever cooked for. I stayed up til 5am, with a half hour break to go to LOS, painting each chocolate medalion gold. Can I say pain in the ass?

Though some of our nose-in-the-air friends refuse to shop anywhere but Newbury Street, Kimberly Harris and Todd MacLeod, co-owners of streetwear boutique LAB Boston, have been amassing a legion of rabid fans of their limited-edition Ts, collectible toys, and lovingly curated record collection. The super-minimal Allston space also regularly displays (and sells) work from guest artists.

And the pair doesn’t stop there: MacLeod, a DJ, works a day job as a senior video editor for Digitas, and Harris writes about fashion, art, parties, and more at www. alwaysonthegrind. com.

rob is goin away and not back to prison

Yup. ROB HEPPLER is goin away again… but this time he won’t have to shower with his shorts on.
That fool is moving across the country, out to the beautiful Pacific Northwest – Portland, OR!!

FRIDAY MAY 2nd, come help us celebrate Rob leaving… wait, that doesn‘t sound right… come out to the GOOD LIFE and help us wish Rob a bon voyage!

There will be friends, good times and special guest djs!
Hopefully someone gets liquored up enough to take the mic and give Rob a proper roasting!

Rad Robbies Ramp Rager

This Saturday at Underground,  will be having a skate-athon to help support a local skater pay his medical bills.

The event will be from 2-9pm and will be all ages. There will also be music, live art, free food, and a dope raffle. It is for a good cause so make sure you check it out!!!
