“Paint Pens in Purses” is a series of all-female urban art shows which
gains its start in 2008 kicking off with complimentary bevies and nibbles at Via Matta!
Shayna Yasuhara (aka Shayna Shenanigans), founder and Boston-based illustration artist, believes we are in the early stages of a new art movement which will and must involve the touch of female artists.

This week Iris & Michelle both got a little press. Check out our Jewish Princess Michelle’s new column in the Advocate, she is writing a bi-weekly singles column about the adventures of being single in Boston.
Also, check out Iris in this week’s Boston Globe featured with other French chefs in Boston Raymond Ost and GĂ©rard Lopez talking about their plans for Bastille Day.
Ok… we have all been pretty busy lately and have not been doing our daily blog posts. So here it is a little late but better then never. For the 4th of July Lana, Michelle and I decided to leave the city for the day and head to the country from a little mini golf and bumper boats at Kimball’s Farm.

Lana & Michelle… yes Lana is wearing her “Boys Aint Shit But Hoes & Tricks” at a family fun center.
Right after Michelle got her hole-in-one!
Yes I lost my ball down the river… but at least I still won!
This is right before Michelle hit me with her boat and knocked her sun glasses into the pond… dont worry the guys from Kimball’s spent the rest of their day fishing them out and finally found them in the bottom of the pond.
Lana… watch out for this one.

We wanted to introduce you to the new women’s streetwear line called Seduce & Destroy.
Seduce & Destroy, a line produced by a Boston-based design team, is
as much a battle cry as it is a clothing line. It represents the
confidence, prowess, and empowerment that women everywhere should
utilize to reach their goals. S&D uses a solid design aesthetic with
a provocative edge.
Please check out the full line here.
This past weekend we packed the car and headed to NY for the S&D photo shoot with Colin Brennan. It was an incredible day and the girls killed it on the shoot! I just wanted to thank them for all their hard work- Jenna (stylist), Lana (hair & makeup) and Iris & Tiffany for modeling- love you girls!
