Tokidoki hits the snow!

One more reason to be excited for snow! I showed you preview pictures of the Tokidoki x Ride gear last winter but they are finally in stores, this picture comes from my boy’s shop East Coast Alpine.

“PAINT IT NOW”

“PAINT IT NOW” is a 6-week show and installation in the Distillery Gallery in South Boston. It features work by BUILDMORE, DARKCLOUDS, EL CELSO, MORGAN THOMAS, KENJI NAKAYAMA, NOIR, EVOKER, HARGO, APHABET SOUP, ELC CREW, ENAMEL KINGDOM, NINETA, and more.

The artists are joining together on Thursday, August 21st for the Distillery Gallery opening, featuring cases of PBR, Upper Crust Pizza to nibble, and an ongoing two-storey indoor painting installation.

The Distillery Gallery is located at 516 E. 2nd street (the corner of 2nd and H Streets) in South Boston. It is a 5 dollar cab ride from South Station, a short 10 minute walk from Broadway Station (red-line), and there is parking for those with automobiles.

Joe Ledbetter has created one of my favorite new toys- the lava unicornasurus! Only released at Comic Con in San Diego they are very are hard to get and are going to crazy amounts of money on ebay. If anyone would like to buy it for me please feel free too, Lana is also in need of one!

Paint Pens in Purses- review

After a long week and a lot of press Shayna and Kim pulled off a very successful 1st series of “Paint Pens in Purses”. The turnout of great filling the whole bar and even over-flowing into the courtyard. You can check out some of the pictures below of the night. Thanks to all the ladies that took part and thanks to Nick from Via Matta, and look out for the next show at LAB in October.

Johnny Cupcakes LA Opening

Our good friend Johnny Cupcakes had a huge opening this weekend on Melrose, for his 3rd store. Not only is his store on Melrose it located between two of our favorite stores Agent Provocatur and Tarina Tarantino. Bobby from The Hundreds was there and covered it all! From Johnny arriving in a box in the back of a vintage truck, to the vip tent in back of his shop. Congrats Johnny, all the girls from AOTG are proud of you and hope to see you back in Boston soon!
