This weekend, Boston is the place to be for urban & fine art. First to kick off the weekend the boys over at OPEN will be having an opening at Chorus Gallery in , Somerville. Curated by Michael Dacey, the show features work from Fionn McCabe, Joe Keinberger, Brian Hart and Arthur Henderson will be up until mid June.
Next our friends over at FutureClassic will be having their annual Future Arts event Saturday May 16th at the Roxy in Boston. The event will feature over 20 prolific sound, visual and multi-media artists coming together to create an uplifting evening of urban expression. Finally, both Saturday & Sunday there will be “The South End Art Walk” located in Boston’s South End. From 11:00am to 6:00pm each day you can check out creative stores, cafes, boutiques and some of the city’s finest restaurants take part in the SoWa Art Walk by opening their doors all weekend, hosting artists who display on their walls and offering special event discounts. The SoWa Open Market, an open-air venue for artists, craftsmen, collectioners, farmstands and other vendors makes its seasonal debut each year in tandem with the SoWa Art Walk.
