Next Friday, June 13th is the opening for Chris Piascik’s solo show at Chorus Gallery in Somerville, MA. He will be showing a number of brand new, large format paintings along with t-shirts. The opening is from 8-11pm, and located at 285 Washington St in Union Square.
After many sleepless nights the boys from OPEN are finally open and ready to celebrate. Stop by anytime today to check out the shop or tonight for the gallery opening, movie premier & party!

If you live in the Boston area you have probably heard a little talk about a new shop called OPEN. For those of you that haven’t, here’s a little information about it. My friends Zack & Josh have been working non-stop the past couple to months to build and develop a bicycle shop, art gallery, and design studio. The space is very unique, from the hand built furniture & fixtures including: a 200 pound stainless steal door for a gallery entrance, a custom built bike ramp leading down to the shop and some of the heaviest solid wood display tables I have ever seen. I can honestly say there is nothing like this shop in Boston, and even if your not the biggest cycling enthusiast this shop makes you appreciated the culture and all aspects that go into building a bike.
OPEN will be having it’s grand opening party this Saturday, April 11, 2009- so make sure to check it out.
